What do I have to do during the Seminar?

First, you have to participate actively at the preparatory seminar (100% attendance required). Further, you must join us to the On-Site trip to China. That’s the easy part.

During the whole Seminar you are required to do the following:
We will give you a topic on which you will have to do research in China. Moreover, we will put you in a team where you investigate the companies, which we will visit during the On-Site trip in order to be prepared. You should come up with some good questions.

Sometime in May - after the On-Site trip - you will be required to hold a final presentation showing your research findings to a wide and diversified audience. We will make a “test-run” before the actual presentation, in order to guarantee a high quality.

Who can participate?

This seminar is primarily targeted to 3rd year students from the Schools of Business, Engineering, Applied Psychology, Social Work and Life Sciences. We also invite students from abroad (our Partner University in Utrecht) and our visiting students to participate in our Preparatory Seminar.
