Beijing:

•  Great Wall at Mutianyu

  •  … A great location to experience the typical, world-famous Chinese monument. As it was not the most famous part of the Great Wall, we were able to experience a calmer atmosphere which allowed us to more thoroughly enjoy the breath-taking scene

  • … Very interesting presentation on HR issues in China. Especially the presentation and Q&A session with the Chinese trainee was extremely insightful. It was very interesting to hear the experience of our Chinese counterpart and how she had experienced her recruitment process.

•  Lanzhou City University

  • … it was very nice to speak with Chinese students about their dreams and hopes and how they viewed the world from their perspectives.

  • … the singing and dancing performances were without a doubt one of the seminar’s highlights. In order to show our appreciation we also performed a few Swiss songs that we had rehearsed during the bus rides.

Shanghai:

• Goldsmart Garment Ltd.

  •  …This was a rare chance to visit a Chinese garment manufacturer and it gave us a very interesting insight into the garment business and how Mr. Wand perceives doing business with Westerner.

• IKEA

  •  …the former General Manager of the Distribution Center enthusiastically introduced us into the world of IKEA’s world class supply chain system. He was the person who led the establishment of the distribution center in Shanghai and made it one of the best performing centers at IKEA.
